Maria Carla Rizzolo, Anna Maria Venera, For a culture of play

The promotion of play is deeply rooted in Turin social urban context, thanks to the “Centers for Culture of play”.
The elaboration of new educational strategies which aim at opposing the solitary dimension of play is possible thanks to the “professional competence” of teachers working in these Centers. The result is an educational practice that makes play an essential instrument of socialization and learning: a contribution for active citizenship.
