Aldo Trucchio, Ideology and representation: the power of images by Louis Marin
In his argument for the impossibility of overcoming the representational scheme of the classical age, and for the presence in that age of deconstructive criticisms towards the ideology of representation, Louis Marin implicitly sets himself in counterposition with Michel Foucault. This paper presents a three-stage exploration of Marin’s production, with the aim of highlighting its full ethical and political import.
