Fulvio Papi

is professor emeritus of theoretical philosophy at the University of Pavia. Pupil of Antonio Banfi, he has first taught at the University of Milan as Banfi’ s and Mario Dal Pra’s assistant and then, from 1965 to 2000, at the University of Pavia. He is vice president of the House of culture. He has founded the Journals “Materiali filosofici” and “Oltrecorrente”. He has edited some philosophical collections with Zanichelli and Guerini Associati. He has dealt with history of philosophy, aesthetics, educational theory and political theory. Currently he is working on a perspective which, for the time being, he calls “historical effectuality”.
