Silvano Calvetto (University of Turin, Italy – Editorial Office)
is researcher of History of education at the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and Modern Cultures of the University of Turin. His main interests are on History of education and History of pedagogy, with particular focus on Italian Nineteen Century.
He has already published, in addition to several essays on Journals and collective works, the books L’educatore Pietro. Il commissario politico come figura pedagogica della Resistenza (Torino, 2006); Tra ragione ed esistenza. Saggio sulla filosofia dell’educazione di Giovanni Maria Bertin (Roma, 2007); Pedagogia del sopravvissuto. Canetti, Améry, Bettelheim (Como-Pavia, 2013). He has also introduced and edited the book of Giuseppe Rensi, L’aspetto aristocratico della dottrina etico-pedagogica di Platone (Torino, 2009). |
