after a master degree in Modern Languages and Literatures at University of Turin, Laura Petrella moved to Geneva, where she improved her foreign languages skills, by working in multicultural, multilingual and multidisciplinary contexts. She has kept studying literatures, with particular attention to the complex figure of Milan Kundera. She is member of the editorial staff of Paideutika with which has collaborated for a few years, carrying out also translation activities. In 2015 she has published the essay The unbearable lightness of being: the antinomy between soul and body as pedagogical experience.
