Franco Cambi, Criticism of education and critical pedagogy

 

The contemporary educational debate increasingly needs to perform a critical-deconstructive analysis of its own theoretical and operative models. Starting from the changes that have transformed the social and cultural reality, education must be rethought in respect of such changes, especially with reference to three aspects that, today, characterize its deepest identity: its complex structure around the idea of education, the centrality acquired by the category of care and its gradual focus towards the individual, in accordance with the critical and problematic condition that characterizes it. A deconstructive need to which the reflection of Antonio Erbetta provides an exemplary model of high and committed cultural profile.
